- Know your script
- Know your audience – this will help you ensure you are presenting in a way that your script or message can be received
- Find your voice – you need to be authentic in what you are selling
- Know your objective – no matter if the room is full or just a couple people know what action you are trying to get them to take
Finally, one of the biggest take-aways is the “as if” principle. To utilize the principle you need to clearly define where you want to go, and figure out how that person would act… Then act “as if” you already are that person.
