The Tempe Healing Field is the nation’s longest running Sept. 11, 2001 tribute event. The Healing Field Memorial will have three thousand 3’X5′ flags standing 8′ tall in perfect rows at Tempe Beach Park; one American flag for every person who died as a result of the terrorist attacks on our nation. This beautiful display will fly a patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, honoring all those who died September 11, 2001. This free event is brought to you by the Tempe Exchange Club and the City of Tempe. The Healing Field will be open daily from 6 A.M – 8 P.M. starting Friday September 8th and ending Monday September 11th. Tempe Healing Field Schedule: Friday morning, 9-8-17, 6:00am Friday evening, 9-8-17, 6:00pm Monday morning, 9-11-17 Monday evening, 9-11-17, 7:00pm Tuesday morning, 9-12-17, 6:00am | An event of this magnitude relies on the help of dedicated volunteers and sponsors.

Volunteers are needed the morning of September 8th starting at 6 A.M. to set up the flags and the morning of September 12th to stand down the flags and prepare them for storage.
